Extracting energy from battery into machines

Ive been playing tekkit legends on a server for a week and i just build a reactor and a battery. Im getting power into the big battery just fine but I dont know how to extract it into my machines. I tried using kinses pipes but those will not connect to my battery box or anything else. Also they will never connect to any other pipes that connect to my machines. So what im asking is can you extract it into machines. Also can you connect any other pipes except kinses to kinses.

BatBox is IC2 --> Thus EU --> if you want to use it for BC Machines use the power converters.
