Cannot load: C:/users/appdata/roaming/logs

Question

Launcher Version: 3.1.3

Operating System: Windows 7

Java Version: JRE 7

Antivirus Program: Northon its outdated though

Description of Problem:

Once i double click technic launcher a white box opens

saying "Cannot load: C:/users/appdata/roaming/logs"

once i click Ok then another box opens with a error message check below

The log thingy is not located at .techniclauncer/logs but instead /roaming/logs

please help

Error Messages:

First error box

Cannot load: C:/users/appdata/roaming/logs

Second error box

Requested registry access is not allowed.

at TechnicLauncher.Program.GetJavaFileAssociationPath()

at TechnicLauncher.Program.LogBasicSystemInfo(TextWriter log)

Java not found in user's PATH. (This is normal)

JAVA_HOME is not set. (This is normal)

I fixed it by downgrading Java 7 to java 6!

Hey, im having the same problem, what exactly did you do (or download) to fix it?

1.Download the Linux/jar file

2. Put the jar in its own folder and rename the jar to technic-launcher

3. Create a text document and put this code inside it

" java -Xms1024M -Xmx1024M -jar technic-launcher.jar -o true

PAUSE " without the quotes.

4. Save the text document as Run.bat and make sure that your notepad doesnt save it as Run.bat.txt

5. double click Run.bat and you're off :D
