How to put essentials on a tekkit 2.1.1 server?

Hi,

Could someone please help me put essentials of Tekkit 2.1.1. When i load it on it does not load a essentials file. I have tried many thing's and none have worked.

Please help.

You must use Essentials version 2.8.2. Latest version doesn´t work with Tekkit server.

I have Essentials 2.8.2 running but can't seem to get signs to work no matter what I try. Anyone have them working?

EDIT: Nevermind. Finally got them working. My config.yml was missing the entire "enabledSigns" section.... UGH!

I could swear I didn't remove it myself. Its as if it didn't even generate to begin with. Weird.
