Small reactor setup?

I planned to make a small reactor. Just the nuclear reactor, no chambers and i dont really understand the heat vent, pipe mechanics and i only found setups for reactors with 6 chambers. So could someone either give me a save setup oder explain it for dummies how the vent and stuff works?
