Java Version: javasetup7u10 and jre but cant remember which one

Antivirus Program: norton

Description of Problem:

when i try to login it says connecting to minecraft.net and then it says update failed and then a message pops up saying "unable to authenticate account with minecraft.net" and i press "ok" and it goes back to launcher
