crash/not working

when i start a game it works for a few seconds then ether closes minecraft or stops the game and says something along the lines of there being an issue with memory.

Likely not enough memory dedicated for the modpack, open technic launcher click launcher options in the top right, go to java settings and turn up the amount of memory used.
