On a macbook pro running os x 10.6.8. I can run minecraft, but when I try to run technic launcher I get the "Unable to authenticate account with minecraft.net" error. I can quit technic and launch minecraft and login, no problem, so it is not an issue with their servers. I have tried deleting technic and it's associated data in ~/Library/Application Support/techniclauncher, that doesn't help. I have looked at all of the threads on this issue, and none of the suggestions have helped. Also tried migrating to a mojang account, same result.
