Crashing in game tekkit

Every once in a while in game I experience a crash after I perform some random action like breaking a torch or opening my inventory. 

I tried upgrading my minecraft to 64 bit, but tekkit refuses to play after clicking that I acknowledge that minecraft 13.0.1 doesn't work well with tekkit

Figured it out

Just had to download the offline windows 64 bit from java then it gave me the otion to play 1.8.0 64 bit and I was able to increase my ram for the game so it didn't crash anymore
