Server connection issues

OS: Windows 7

Java Version: version 7 update 10

Description of Problem:

So I set up a server, it works fine and all, but my friend can't get on, it says "Can't reach server"

I have tried making a basic minecraft server, unmodded, and it works just fine for us.

So it shouldn't be hamachi (which is what we use).

I have tried the firewalls, I have tried setting online to false and true, I have checked and double checked my hamachi IP.

I am honestly cluesless to what else to attempt :/ please help us?

My friend experiences the same problem I do.

Friends can't reach tekkit server, when a non modded server works just fine for them

Are you sure that his hamachi is running, connected to your network, and tekkit trying to connect to YOUR hamachi ip?

yes, I'm sure. like I said, it works just fine on a regular minecraft server, but it doesnt with tekkit.

I've checked many times our IPs and it should be right.
