When i launch a mod pack it gets halfway through launching but then goes back to technic, any advice on what to do?

so when it gets to the 3/7 section of launch i can see another bar at the bottom that says 'starting game' and that finishes way before it gets to the 4/7 section and when it finishes it just goes back to technic and i'm really confused (I'm not a computer guy either so please don't rip into me too hard)
