The Original Technic Launcher returns

This update to our old and outdated launcher was done by a 3rd party. Technic does not recommend nor endorse the usage of this program. It is recommended you download and use the current official launcher version which you can get from the official website.

The Original Technic Launcher is back!

After 7 years of decommission, the Original Technic Launcher makes a return. This means you can now (re)play all of your favourite packs back from the day, including all their versions:

• Technicssp
• Tekkit Lite
• Tekkit
• Voltz
• YogBox
• Hack/Mine

Multiple things have been fixed and improved to better accommodate to today's system:

• Fixed authentication with minecraft.net. In-game authentication is still broken, as it's an issue with minecraft itself
• Fixed display of the the Tekkit logo
• Fixed skin display for saved logins
• Fixed download of the minecraft.jar
• Changed the label of the "Minecraft Username" field to "Minecraft Email"
• Saved logins now display your in-game name instead of your email

I am aware that Technicssp was recently re-added to the launcher, but it's still only one specific version. With the original launcher, you get to play all versions.

Downloads
Releases are available on Github. Windows users will want the .exe release, while MacOS/Linux users will want the .jar
