Can the OS be the problem?

Title: Can the OS be the problem?

Version: 3.1.3

OS: Linux

Java Version: java 7

Description of Problem:

Hello

I am running a Tekkit server and the server isnt really working as it should.

Its currently running on Linux and I was just wondering if maybe that could be the problem...

If you have a Tekkit server (not private) and reading this please tell me what OS your server is running on and if you have any problems (some items crash the server and corrupts the map) as i think this would help me to see if windows servers work better or worse with Tekkit.

Thanks for the help Posted Image

-Edit-

Or if you have any ideas on the problem.

I'm running some Servers, all on Debian. this works far better (in my opinion) and if correctly configured far mor secure. Check the tekkit forums for the latest bug fixes for blocks. If you allready have invalid block in the world, remove them with worldedit...
