technic launcher replaces java

whenever I download the technic launcher and download vanilla minecraft through the launcher it automatically downloads java and uses its own version instead of the computers version. It keeps using a 32bit Java on my 64bit pc and it makes the launcher unusable. I can't even use vanilla minecraft because of it

That means the Java you have installed in your system is 32-bit. Uninstall that one and install a 64-bit Java.
