Technic Launcher not showing 16/15gb of ram when im in the launcher options

Okay so , my game just crashed because I didn't allocate enough ram , I have 16 GB of ram. When I went to the launcher options to allocate more , it only showed 1 GB... Nothing more , only 512MB , 768MB and 1 GB...
