Can't launch the TechnicLauncher because of Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine

I downloaded the TechnicLauncher today, short after I did I wanted to launch a modpack and got the message I need to allocate more RAM. Tho it would only let me change it to 1GB max. So I downloaded the latest Java version to be able to allocate more RAM. Ever since I did I keep getting the Error:

Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.

Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program Will exit.

 

Now I can't even launch the launcher anymore because of that error.

I've tried reinstalling Java several times and tried all the other solutions I could find but nothing seems to fix it.
