Launcher goes to grey screen and never shows mojang logo

dartuche

Question

Launcher Version: 1.0.3.4

Operating System: Win 7 x6

Java Version: 1.7.0_05 and 1.6.0_37

Antivirus Program: Avast

Description of Problem:

The technic launcher itself opens and I am able to login. It then changes to the next window, but it never gets to the mojang logo. It just sits there with a grey screen. On my other win 7x64 computer it works fine with no issues; same with my win7 x64 laptop.

I have tried the following:

I have defined the technic-launcher.jar as a trusted application in my firewall.

I have completly deleted and reinstalled the technic launcher x3 times.

I have also redownloaded it from the website and installed it x2

The tekkit launcher is set to the download the "latest" mod files. It does the same thing though even if it is set to download the recommended mod files.

I have gone to control panel > system > advanced > environemnt variables > path and added ;C:\Program Files\Java\jre7;C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin

I have tried disabling java 7 and only using java 6, still does not work.

with regards to the first error log, it was constantly having an MD5 cheksum failure on "launcher\tekkit\modpack.yml" so I downloaded the file directly from http://206.217.207.1/Technic/tekkit/modpack.yml and verfied that the hash was the same.

After making sure the file hash was fine, on loading up the technic launcher and logging in it still continues to present a completely grey screen.

I tried logging in to both technic AND tekkit with both my account and my boyfriend tried his, to the same result; grey screen.

I went into C:\Users\Kitty\AppData\Roaming\.techniclauncher\tekkit\bin\jinput.jar and deleted the meta-inf file from it

At this point it failed again. I removed AppData\Roaming\.techniclauncher\tekkit\bin and reopened the technic launcher to redownload it all. Then i wiped the contents of AppData\Roaming\.techniclauncher\tekkit and replaced it with the contents of the directory from my other, working computer. IT still didn't work

I have spent the last three days looking at posts on the technic forum and googling the hell out of this thing and I am completely stumped.

Can anyone please offer some suggestions? I will be SUPER appreciative if I can finally fix this !!

Error Messages:

On logging into the technic launcher it tries to load up tekkit OR technic and the screen goes grey and it never gets to the mojang logo.

Error Log:

on opening just the technic launcher without logging in:
