How to change ram?

So, I'll start at the beginning. I recently installed Technic Launcher and logged in, when I finished a modpack (Hexxit or something) it says I didn't have the GB RAM needed to boot the modpack, when I tried to login to change the ram it said I didn't have more than 1gb ram but i have, how can I solve this?   My Ram image // My Technic Laucher image
