Rare Minecraft crash bug.

So on technic launcher, when running a modpack, that is light, 27 mods or so, and mine. The game every 30 minutes or so will freeze in full fullscreen where when I alt tab it crashes, usually, the crash occurs while using memory in excess of 9 gigabytes. It sometimes gives a log, often with the exit code 1 and unknown crash error. My java version is 1.7.0.6. 64 bit, 4 gigabytes allocated, Minecraft version 1.7.10, forge version the newest as it has been years since it was updated.
