Crash opening modpacks with an FML early loading Screen

A couple of background details:

- I am using a mac with an m1 chip

- I have made sure that my software is up to date

 

I was opening a modpack when it crashed during the early loading stage

 

Here is the error message I got:

After doing some research I found that It could be fixed by adding the java arg "-Dfml.earlyprogresswindow=false", which fixed it once, but it hasn't worked since, giving the error message

"GLFW error 65544: Cocoa: Failed to find service port for display.

Please make sure you have up-to-date drivers (see aka.ms/mcdriver for instructions)."
