Essential Mod Help Can't Join Friend

Me and my friend having issue joining each other on Essentials. Whenever I join it will connect through and will show on his screen I joined but on my screen it would show loading terrain for a bit and then get transported into my own world in the void. I don't know what the cause of this is PLEASE HELP!!!
