Java Version: i dont know where to find this, its the latest version of java though i updated my java a week ago

Description of Problem:
okay, so my friend told me that technic has been updated to minecraft 1.4.6. I went and chose that build in my technic ssp thing. When i clicked login, it took about an hour installing the updaate. then, 2 white boxes appear. one is where minecraft should open, and the other is where the Forge Mod Loader thing (FML) has to 'configure your minecraft' or whatever... so the boxes stay completely white until i get an error message aboutminecraft not launching correctly. then FML will appear, say, 8%. next time, it might say 24%. then itll say 45%. all the way to 100, but it never does launch. It just keeps doing the same thing. How can i fix this? thanks for your help i REALLY appreciate it!!!!!!
