thekingdiddyking Posted January 12, 2013 Share Posted January 12, 2013 Hello I have just rented a server with Mooshroom. I would like to install Tekkit onto my server but I don't know how. I have read a few suggestions and tried them and it will not work. Can anyone give me a step by step guide how to do it? Maybe links for everything I need too? Another thing and this may sound stupid but I dont know the answer to it, to have Tekkit on my server will I have to play through the technic launcher or can I play through Minecraft original launcher?. Ciderax Posted January 12, 2013 Share Posted January 12, 2013 I'm not 100% sure but I use fluctishosting and they have a option that does the tekkit work for you. but looking into the ftp directory that they uploaded for me it looks like they just uploaded the server files from tekkits websites directly in the root " / " folder Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

FinalCorruption Posted January 12, 2013 Share Posted January 12, 2013 Ahh, sir, You need to download the tekkit server aswell. http://www.technicpack.net/tekkit/ and click download 'Download tekkit server 3.1.2' and set it up however you like. If you want further information on setting it up, i'm sure there are plenty of article littered on the forums of how to set up a good server, with the right plugins. Hope this helped. ok so /I done all that and when I try to join in tekkit it just says "internal exception java.socketexception connection reset" and will not let me in.
