Logistic Pipes won't connect

Title: Logistic Pipes won't connect

Description of Problem:

I'm runnig the lastest build of tekkit lite (0.5.2)and i'm trying to create myself an auto-sorting/crafting/refining system. However all of the chests i have set up aren't connecting to my logistic pipes. The item moves into the logistic pipe connected to the chest, dissappears and falls to the ground. This has never happened in any of the other similar systems i've made in the past.

What is going on? And any ideas how i fix it?

I am having the exact same problem. I didn't try to use logistic pipes in the last version, but the second I tried to use them in this version they won't create the "network" (placing three logistic pipes in a row cause the pipes to display red icons signifying they aren't connecting). If anyone knows what happened and how to help it would be greatly appreciated.

just delete the mod out of the mods folder in the server file
