How do I allow players to use machines in spawn ?

Hello, I'm an admin/op on this fairly newish Tekkit server, and I made a couple electric furnaces for people to use in spawn, but one thing, when people try to use them, it tells them "You don't have permission to open or use that Tekkit item here". How can I allow them to use them? I tried doing "/region flag spawn use allow" but that didn't work. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

What protection plugin do you use?

If you have LWC do /cpublic and click the item, they will be able to use the machine/chest but not break it.
