Dynamic Lights 1.2.4 Installation Issues

I've tried this that and the other thing and I've been so far unsuccessful installing "Dynamic Lights" to my tekkit installation.

I've tried dropping the no forge and forge files into the ...\tekkit\bin\modpack.jar and the ...\tekkit\bin\minecraft.jar

I also tried zipping the "forge" directory and placing that into the mods folder.

When the mod is installed into modpack.jar and when I zip the "forge" folder (because I believe tekkit has forge) and place that into the mods folder it produces a grey screen upon login to servers; it doesn't appear to do it when I place files into the minecraft.jar (which I read is the incorrect method)

Anyone here been successful installing Dynamic Lights 1.2.4?

I haven't done it myself, but you might have better luck putting it into modpack.jar.

Uh Tekkit runs on Minecraft 1.2.5. Or is 1.2.4 the version of the mod itself, not the version of Minecraft that it's meant for?

It's probably because of mod incompatibility. The mod page says to use MCPatcher, but you can't do that for Tekkit unless they have a patcher for Tekkit. I also want to add Dynamic Lights to my Tekkit.
