Creepychair Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Help! When ever I select the recommended build of Voltz and login, a white screen comes up. The "Hello" window recently described on macs does not, and also, the launcher stays open. I wait for about 10 minutes, and no change occurs. I'm on a Windows 7 Home Premium with an Intel® Core i3-2350M CPU @2.30GHz processor, 6 GIGS of RAM, and a 64 bit operating system. Is this a problem with my CPU or Voltz itself?

You may have encountered an issue while trying to download Voltz, Technic dev builds, or the new Tekkit Lite Pack. You would either get to a screen that says "Hello" and download would fail, or it would fail instantly in the case of Lite. After much work looking into the problem we determined it was related to macs and running FML. We were able to come up with a solution and it is now available. FOR EVERYONE USING A MAC. Please back up your saves and texture packs and DELETE YOUR TECHNICLAUNCHER folder. For mac users that folder is located here: Users/"User Name"/Library/Application Support/techniclauncher If you have any other trouble doing this, more information is available in the common problems and solutions threads or other places on the forums. Next you'll want to go to www.technicpack.net and redownload the launcher. DO NOT use the .exe version, it will not work for mac users obviously. If you have deleted your .techniclauncher folder, running the newly downloaded .jar will put a fresh folder in its place. CONGRATULATIONS! You are now able to play everything! If you have any further issues, they are with your computer. The community can trouble shoot your computers settings to make sure you have things properly set up on your end such as java. However, I know how to mod and stuff like that... so... I probably could, but, I want to figure out why this bug is occurring, as I was able to install ALL of the mods onto just plain Minecraft and it's completely fine. If you're asking "Are they exactly the same"? Yes, as I plainly pulled all of the mods from the Technic Launcher folder and into the .minecraft. So, what I'm asking is, why shouldn't this work AS SMOOTHLY as on Vanilla?
thomas34809 Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Same, whenever I try to load up Voltz my screen goes black and the screen textures go nuts. I've tried reloading and redownloading the launcher and the actual folder with all the Jars and crap. Help I play on a server and I dont want to lose my crap.
