Update Failure

Launcher Version: 3.1.2 (Current One I think)

Operating System: Windows 7

Java Version: 1.7

Antivirus Program: Norton

Description of Problem:

OK so I was playing tekkit classic and messing around with force fields. Then i tried to make pistons push a cow into a zapper force field and the game crashed. Now every time I try to load up tekkit, it says there is an update. I click update now and it says update failed. This happens every time and I've already tried deleting and re downloading twice. Someone please tell me what is going on, and how to fix it.

I couldn't find this... no log folder, even though i did go to .techniclauncher

I had this problem too. I fount out that by deleting your .techniclauncher folder (Make sure all saves are backed up or moved) then re-loading your Technic Launcher it fixes it. For me anyways.
