Keep getting update failed on ALL modpakcs

Launcher Version: 1.1.1.0

Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1 build 7601

Java Version: JRE 7 Update 11 x64 and x86

Antivirus Program: avast!

Description of Problem:

After i input my mojang account email address and password to login, it tries to download the modpack (of which i have tried all of them, rec build) and gets update failed.

Error Messages:
