player.dat files getting reset?

Hello there!

These days I've been experiencing a problem along with my players..

They open un Technic launcher and (sometimes someone tells tekkit crashes before starting and he gets stuck on a white screen) when they try to log into my server they spawn at the default spawn without their inventory.

Basically it gets reset and they spawn as they join the server for the first time..

What could be the problem?
