Storage broken?

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Java Version: version 7 update 11 (build 1.7.0_11-b21)

Description of Problem:

When I try to pump oil into my storage tanks it will just fill up the pipe like its not connected, I have tried it in Creative and it works perfect, but not in multiplayer, anyone know the fix?

I had the same problem but in Single player.

Solution I used was to break the tank and quickly replace it - it then started filling.

Also filled from bottom.

Problems resolved, I had a creeper somehow get in and blow it up and when i replaced it it worked fine...broke the others and replaced them and now they all work fine
