When if ever is tekkit getting updated?

I have been playing tekkit for a long time and I would like to know if tekkit is getting more mods and getting updated to a newer version of minecraft. If its not getting updated is there a modpact with all the mods in tekkit but updated more also it could have more mods just I want the big mods
