Help with Permissions

I really dont understand this part of the server process whatsoever, nor can I find anywhere that is very helpfull. All I have gotten so far is as follows:

Groups:

Citizen:

default: true

permissions:

- commandbook.who

- commandbook.motd

- commandbook.rules

- commandbook.kit

- commandbook.kit.list

- commandbook.setspawn

- commandbook.time.check

- commandbook.time

- commandbook.spawn

- commandbook.home.teleport

- commandbook.home.set

- commandbook.msg

- commandbook.away

- commandbook.whereami

- commandbook.gamemode

- myhelppages.allpages

I cant seem to actually be able to use any commands whatsoever. Help would be truly appreciated.

Have you added yourself into the group?

And have you got the right Permissions for the recommended CraftBukkit?

I haven't downloaded anything other than what came with the actual tekkit server files. And I set it as the default group, so would I not already be classified in it?

i use permissionsex

Yeah, I guess I will just use that. Seems much easier. And it might look better if you put PermissionsEX or just PEX.
