Couple o Voltz bugs

I'm not sure if this is caused by the modpack itself or the mods I've installed. (I've installed Redpower, Computercraft and buildcraft)

Sometimes when I log in all my wires have are all disconnected like they're not connected to anything and I can't connect wires to any of my machines or power generators.

Also (not sure if this is a bug or me being an idiot) wires keep randomly disappearing, is this because of too much voltage? And finally no electricity is going through the wires connected to my fission reactor.

EDIT: Okay I was being stupid on the second part, there wires were too far away it seems. I had to put battery boxes by every power generator I had, is this the best thing to do? Also the fission reactor doesn't generate that much electricity, I doubt a fission reactor would generate 5kj would it?
