Inquiry: How do I make a Hamachi Server?

I want to make a Tekkit server for me and my friends,via Hamachi. However,when I recently tried,by selecteng Tekkit in the drop-down menu on the launcher,I got a "Failed to Update" error,and I have a feeling that's because I missed some set-up.

So,from step zero to the final step,how do I set up a Hamachi server for Windows 7?
