Update Failed at Backup

I can't seem to update voltz to the latest build (1.1.0) because it stays at

0% Backing up Previous Build to '2013-02-19-19.44.33-backup.zip...

I'v also tried clearing the cache and it still stopped at the same point.

Shall i try updating java or re-installing the technic launcher?

I deleted the voltz from my .techniclauncher and it worked

it works if anyone is wondering how to do it go to %appdata% and double click .techniclauncher and delete voltz

or on a mac go to ~/Library/ApplicationSupport/techniclauncher

It was the backup that was causing it to fail :/
