Signal Disruptor quick question

Hi, sorry if this has been answered elsewhere (although I've searched and I can't find anything on it), how do you charge the signal disruptor? I've tried putting it in a battery and an advanced battery and leaving it for ages ...all to no effect.

Ah, nevermind. I put it in a basic energy cube and it's charging.

I'd delete the thread but it may help others if they try searching for the same thing.
