Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition 2003 Service Pack 3 32 bit
Java Version: SE7 (or at least thats what the java website says that all users from this version should update, and that poped up on my computer)
Antivirus Program: Umm, Norton, Kapersky, McAfree, and AVG are all icons, but wether they all are in use I have no idea
Description of Problem:
When I try to use the Technic Launcher to play vanilla, it comes up with a message that says, 'Update failed!'. The launcher does open, I do get the option to select my modpack, and it starts loading, then it comes up with the message.
