Massive usage of the CPU and ram when unexacting mod pack

Operating System: Windows 7

Java Version: Java 7

Antivirus Program: MalwareBytes

Description of Problem:

So I open up the launcher, click add new mod pack, pasted in the api url for it. It extracts the large files but when it gets to flan's content packs, CPU usage, ram go crazy. Content packs are made up of many files.

I guess your Processor isn't exactly powerful. Maybe the launcher is trying to extract/move too much files for it to handle

I doubt that if I'm honest, under the old technic launcher where you had to select the custom zip in options area it worked and extracted fine, not a problem. On the new launcher it's where I have had the problems.
