Title: Mining Laser Not Working Fires Only Vertical Doesn't Break Blocks

Version: 3.1.3

OS: Windows 7

Java Version: 64bit

Description of Problem:

This wasn't me that posted this originally but I had the same problem and I resolved it. I believe the problem was caused by using the /op command in the Tekkit Server client (v3.1.2). Basically, instead of the mining laser firing a projectile forward and blocks breaking, the animation still shotts normally but the projectile's effects direct straight downward, hitting you and breaking the blocks under you. I resolved the issue by moving my player inventory into a chest, deleting my character's .dat file in the folder "Tekkit_Server_3.1.2/world/player/[The specified player's .dat file]" then I reloaded the server so it could load up a new player file and it worked. Now it's completely fixed and I just wanted to report that here because I couldn't post it on the forums. This is the kind of game killing bug that a person could hang themselves over, so if you could post it for me or something, that would do a great service for the minecraft community. Thank you. Here's the original post from the other poor guy below. No one would help him:( I hope this helps. Great job on everything. Thanks for everything! PEACE!!!

[bUG][sMP][V1.71] Mining Laser fires only vertical

dear Community,

my mining laser will fire only straight up oder straight down depending on my target angle, the shot is flying where it should but its not breaking blocks or have any of the effects it should have, instead its like a invisible shot is fired right below me. so when im falling and i shoot i hit myself. The game is not crashing and it continues as it should do ive testet it in every mode on a few of the commonest blocks (dirt, stone, sand, etc...). The strange thing is that all was fine with the as i started the server, but after ~3days this bug occured and i dont know how i can fix this, when im starting a backup the bug is gone, and when i erase the map and create a new one via "launch.exe" the bug is also gone, so i guess it has to do something with the map file. Unfortunately i got no experience with Java or the coding of IC2 so i hope you can help me

(If it is helpful: a recipe from Redpower2 has also Deactivated itself, i can put things together right and it wont get me the crafted item, like the bug with the laser this occured also after a time with no special event that i could suspect to be the reason....)

Im running Tekkit 2.1.1, Win7 64bit Java
