Items can destroy protected areas?

A player used a Catalytic lens to destroy a protected area?

I use residence plugin if that helps at all, I would really appreciate help, if residence wont be able to work at all, do you know of one which stops destruction?

Yes items can destroy protected areas. the Plugins are built for bukkit, not tekkit (sadly). That's one of the main reasons to disable EE (besides it being OP in combination with the other mods).

It was a consideration, however many players enjoy using it.

I've tried a solution that was adding modifyworld in with permissionsEX, but I cant seem to get permissionsEX to work? It doesnt run or something
