i cant find the application for the launncher

i have searched every where for the application file for the launcher. i have the older version of the launcher but that cant update and i cant get rid of it so how do i find the application for the launcher

thanks but it comes up with the checking for updates but doesnt work it ust like skips it and i downloaded the new one several times now and the only way i can open the launcher is by re downloading it i cant actually find the application for the technic launcher the new one just the old one
