Fraps crashes Tekkit Classic when I try to record.

I have no idea why this would be happening, but here's some info if it will help.

I am running Windows 8 64-bit with 8GB of RAM. I don't get any error message, just a notice that Java has crashed. I know the button I use to start recording doesn't control anything in the game (I am using \ ) and have looked up this multiple times with no success at fixing it. One thing I did notice though is no one that I looked up that had a problem with this was using Windows 8. For some reason I can't use certain programs on Windows 8 (such as I can't host a server that others can join) and I think that Windows 8 may be the cause.

Yeah omg that also happened to me. i am windows 8 64-bit and whenever i use fraps my tekkit keeps crashing. i tried to fix it but it didnt help. So SOMEBODY HELP ME!!
