Can't install classic with the launcher

i'm getting the same error almost instead of saying failed to download minecraft 1.2.5 it says it failed to downoad 1.4.7 and this is when I try to launch vanilla minecraft from the technic launcher or when I try to launch tekkit lite I'm wondering if this is because of the mincraft 1.5 update
