I can't load any mod

Launcher Version: 203

Operating System: Windows 7

Java Version: 7

Antivirus Program:

Description of Problem:

When i enter my username and password and i select Tekkit or anything else i press "Launch" and then..error "Error retrieving information for selected pack:"

Error Messages:

I too am receiving this error. i updated to the latest launcher today & it took about 8 attempt for the mods to even show up but now I just get this error when trying to launch any mods even vanilla.

My log seems to indicate that the launcher is having problems connecting to the server.
