Launching technic behind a proxy

Operating System: Widows 7 , No firewall, no anti virus

Java Version: 6 and 7

Antivirus Program: /

Description of Problem:

The launcher is no able to connect to internet because i'm behind a proxy. ( I'm not the administrator and the admin won't change anything because I live on a military base and there is one BIG civilian connection for 900 people). When I start the game with my mobile phone ( 3G sharing between computer and phone ) it works. As we don't have any unlimited data transfer in Belgium. I'd like ti start Technic with the normal connection but I need to know how to launch your launcher with my proxy settings.

download the linux/mac launcher .jar then use

java -jar Technic_Launcher.jar -proxy_host <hostforproxy> -proxy_port <portforproxy>

If you don't have a proxy, you'll need to tunnel out somehow and set a proxy
