Outlaw Bear21 Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 One of the servers I play on is not working for me.It keeps saying "could not resolve hostname" and "unknown host:". My friends can get on it, but i can't. I tried restaring my computer, redownloading tekkit, and resetting my internet but nothing is working. Pls help
HiFarGone Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Is it private home server or a rented one? Whenever you see a "cannot resolve hostname" error, it means that it cannot find the IP address associated with that name. Did you try connecting to the straight IP address and not the name?
