technic mod pack HELP

hey i sew on of my friends playing technic so i wanted to play too

so i download the technic launcher and installed it but i cant see any option to play technic i have tekkit classic and i have tekkit lite but no technic also my launcher looks diffrent then his

how do i fix it ?

He has a older version of the launcher and Technic is single player only.
