Launching Tekkit lite and...! White screen.

[Tedium]

Everything works fine, up until a point. The launcher launches, I log in, the default packs all download their files, and everything is good until I click login. Stuff happens, things load, and the new window is brought up. However, it's just a white screen. Nothing happens, even after quite a while. I brought up the console and launched Tekkit lite, and it confirmed that nothing more was being done after the white screen, with no obvious errors.

Any ideas? If it's any help, I seem to be able to interact with some sort of menu through the white screen. Clicking randomly elicits "click!" sounds, as if a button were being pressed. However, there is still no response.
