Launcher won't add new mod-pack from API link

Question

Posted

Launcher Version: 222

Operating System: Windows 7, Home Professional, 64 bit

Java Version: 64 bit

Antivirus Program: Kaspersky Pure 2.0

Description of Problem:

So I'm trying to add this http://www.technicpack.net/modpack/details/yogcraft-extreme.52352]this mod pack using the appropriate platform URL and Technic won't let me.

I click "Add New Pack", paste the URL into it, and nothing happens. Even if I choose a new directory, make a new folder inside the .technic folder, and try it then, nothing happens.

I've tried clicking paste multiple times, I've tried pressing enter, I've tried clicking 'select' next to the directory bar, nothing.

Maybe I'm missing something but how do you add a modpack?
