Help! Tekkit not loading up

Ok, here is the problem:

Me and my brother are trying to play together on tekkit, the technic launcher is working fine on his computer but when he selects tekkit and tries to run it a blank screen and then doesn't respond.

Any help would be much appreciated, no matter how simple.
